SCO is currently trying to sue IBM (and potentially a few others) over code they claim is "theirs" which apparently exists in the Linux kernel. It does seem that as far as the majority of the computing community is concerned (SCO have yet to release anything to backup the claim) , this is totally bogus and simply aimed at damaging the Linux community. If you want to know more and who is apparently funding the exercise, take a look at Eric Raymond's Halloween documentation.
** This case seems now to be pretty much dead, "apparently" SCO had no case ... can you believe it !!
