Linux Mint Debian Edition 201204 RC (MATE/Cinnamon & Xfce) released

Clement Lefebvre and the Linux Mint team have announced the release of Linux Mint Debian Edition 201204 Release Candidate with updated ISOs for MATE/Cinnamon and Xfce.

LMDE is 100% compatible with the Debian Squeeze and Testing software repositories, but is NOT compatible with their other Ubuntu-based Linux Mint “Main” editions.

Linux Mint Debian Edition 201204 RC comes in two editions, one with the MATE 1.2 and Cinnamon 1.4 desktop environments, and the other one with the lightweight Xfce 4.8 desktop environment, both editions are available for both 32bit and 64bit architectures
