Linberry – A Desktop manger for Blackberry smartphones has reached Beta stage.

You can make backups of your Blackberry, sync and manage contacts, and install/uninstall applications with ease.

Indeed it’s a full Blackberry PC Suite for Linux.

There are both .deb and .rpm packages available .. but 32bit only.

Their website is in Spanish, but the LinBerry software itself allows you to choose English

Installation instructions for Ubuntu 32bit:

Download the linberry1.1b1a_i386deb.tar.gz file, and place it in your Home directory.

Open a terminal and run:

mkdir ~/linberry
then
tar -zxvf linberry1.1b1a_i386deb.tar.gz
then
cd ~/linberry
then
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
